EDDIE HUNT, M.A., LMFT
Eddie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (MFC53544). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Providence College in 1996, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles in 2010. Prior to his career in the Mental Health field, Eddie worked in the entertainment industry for over ten years, which affords him the ability to empathize with the challenges and struggles particular to the business of Hollywood and entertainment.
In June 2010, Eddie began a psychotherapy private practice internship under the supervision of Andrew Susskind and has also trained at the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, Southern California Counseling Center, and the Center for Healthy Sex. Eddie has also completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Certificate Program at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
Eddie provides coaching and case management services to our One to One Treatment clients seeking long-term recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction, and mental health challenges. Eddie provides a “hands-on” experience assisting clients in rebuilding their skills through goal identification and solution-focused action.
Eddie serves as the Treasurer of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles and is also a member of The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
